FORMULARY: FACIAL CLEANSER WITH 1% SALICYLIC
ACID
This formulation provides a clear liquid facial
cleanser with 1% salicylic acid. The cleanser has excellent
foaming and wetting properties.

Instructions
-
Heat Distilled to 70C (158F).
-
Add Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose and mix
until all particles are wetted.

Cool to room temperature while adding the
remainder of the distilled water.

Mix until solution is clear and particle
free.
-
Add remainder of ingredients of Part B,
mixing well after each addition.
- Premix
propylene glycol and salicylic acid until uniform & clear
- Add Part
C to batch with mixing
- Add Part
D to batch with mixing.
Fragrance and dye can be added if desired. |
