FORMULARY: BASIC BABY WIPES

These baby wipes are moistened with natural aloe vera, vitamin E, and water to cleanse and moisturize gently and naturally.
It does not contain alcohol or unnecessary synthetic ingredients that can irritate baby's skin.

Part A
Distilled Water	68.5%	342.5	1 ½ cup	Diluent
Glycerin	15%	75.0	5 Tbs	Humectant and
Aloe Vera 200	0.5%	2.5	½ tsp	Moisturizer & Soothes skin
Part B
Mineral Oil	10%	50.0	¼ cup	Moisturizer “Baby Oil”
Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate	5%	25.0	5 tsp	Extremely mild surfactant
Tocopheryl Acetate	1%	5.0	1 tsp	Moisturizer “Vitamin E”
Total	100 %	500g	2 cups

Instructions:

1) Mix Part A separately until uniform and the aloe is dissolved.

2) Mix Part B until uniform and add to Part A.

3) ”Shake Well” or Mix before use and/or before dispersing on towels.

Baby wipes:

To prepare a roll of paper towels to become baby wipes, cut it in half so you have two short rolls and remove the cardboard center.
Place a short roll in an airtight, waterproof container and pour the solution over the towels. Put the lid back on the container and turn it upside down so the solution is absorbed.

Blue shop towels also work for this purpose. The solution could be kept in a jar and cloth towels dipped in it.

Spray bottle application near changing station.

(or)

Shop towels, wash clothes or flannel clothes cut into quarters and placed in a recycled baby wipe container.
